yes its there go to pcm special function vin read  the trick is to turn key off right before you hit vin read since it can't find any it will give you the option of writing the vin  now turn key back on write vin to pcm  but you want to make sure it does not see a different vin in the vehicle or it won't start  so in the event that you are replacing the pcm with a used one  first unplug the skim/wcm before you write the vin to the pcm this way it never sees a different vin number and a pin code is not needed or don't disconnect anything but make sure not to crank the engine until after the vin was change and key was cycle. hope this helps you  good luck.

Yes it is available on the 908p. Go to powertrain/ pcm  miscfuntion or special function since they
keep changing the names. Read vin, before reading the vin turn key off, type the vin turn
key on and write it,turn key off wait 30 sec start the vehicle.

Good to know, Chrysler has been strict on giving out security pin codes without a locksmith license. What year/models is this functional on? 2013 and below?

well this procedure has now change since the last 2  updates. It can still be done on pre-can bus vehicles with skim modules  but on newer vehicles with wcm/win it will not work, if you turn key off  then it will just give you a communication error. but is ok I have a different procedure you can use for newer vehicles and you will not need a pin code either. just go  body/wcm or win/ misc function/replace pcm, you will be prompted to enter pin code,  just  exit that then you will be prompted to change vin number,  hit ok.  do not try starting the vehicle at this point, the transfer of the secret key have not taken place yet, turn key off for a few seconds then start  the vehicle. that's pretty  much it.  this procedure can be done on both old and new vehicles. good luck.
